The views from the house at about 1,150 m are amazing, and the hiking trail starts right outside. We could also drive five minutes to the Zell am Zimmer Middle station. There’s plenty to do on site too, from the wooden playground and animals to pony rides, table tennis and football. Inside, it feels like having a whole Alpine Hütte to yourselves. We had enough beds and bathrooms for our group of more than eight, so mornings were comfortable without a queue. The house is beautifully furnished, and Family Kröll were friendly and welcoming hosts. A wonderful spot for a family holiday.

A lovely family-run farm for kids, with animals and go-carts, set among beautiful scenery and panoramas. The owners are kind, and the location works well in both winter and summer.

The ski bus stops right outside, and in five minutes it takes you to the Zillertal Arena middle station. That saved us about 30 minutes each morning compared with waiting at the bottom station. We spent a week in a lovely, spacious apartment with a stunning mountain and valley view from every window. The huge balcony runs along two sides of the house, and the host family were so welcoming.

Such kind people, great rooms in good condition, and a really good location. This is the best place I’ve stayed. I wouldn’t look anywhere else.
