Langwies Genussherberge

We only had a couple of nights at Langwies Hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The surroundings are beautiful, and it’s easy to get to the region’s tourist attractions, with a handy connection to Salzburg. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the service was warm and accommodating. Strongly recommended. We’d love to return. There’s a cozy, family atmosphere throughout the building, and the restaurant is on a high level. The small spa has a sauna and natural pool. There’s plenty of comfortable parking, as well as space for bikes. I recommend this place.

A great one-night stop on our way to Croatia. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we had a comfortable room and a delicious dinner. Parking was good too. We’d come back.

The room was lovely, and the Mozart bed was huge and comfortable. The front desk ladies were nice, the food was good, and the location is convenient, with parking and a Subway stop right outside. I just wish the room had been cool enough to sleep in. I picked hotels with air conditioning and a pool, but this one has neither. It was a choice between sweating indoors or opening up to the fresh air and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, since there are no screens either. The pool is really a cold pond in the sauna area. It’s great for jumping into naked after the outdoor Finnish sauna, but awkward when other guests in swimsuits are there to use the “pool.” The shower and toilet areas could do with renovation.
