I stayed here in September 2022. The spa area is lovely, and the hotel itself is very nice, but it isn’t a good fit for a holiday with dogs. They can only stay in the room, and the charge is high. I also felt awkward at meals because the waiter came across as arrogant and superior. The starters and desserts were great, though the main courses need quite a bit of work.

The mountain water is crystal clear, and the scenery is stunning. There are free places to swim, an outdoor pool, and a village with cafes nearby. A mountain railway is only a short way off, too. It’s an easy place to slip out of everyday life and feel like you’re on holiday.

A really beautiful area and a genuinely great hotel. I’d happily recommend it.

We had a lovely holiday apartment, and the landlady was nice.

There’s a walking path around the lake, and the setting is beautiful. The traffic noise was a downside, and having to pay for parking was a nuisance.
