Landhaus Schatz made a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Austria. The owners live in the adjacent building and were friendly and helpful. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby, and we enjoyed Cafe - Bistro Haubentaucher on the Vilsalpsee. The cable cars are a short drive away for hiking or skiing, and we spent a week here. Another week of mountain walks and relaxing would have been easy to fill. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, modern, and well equipped, from the dishes and kitchen utensils to the glassware and good espresso machine. There’s also a bread and roll service in the morning. It sits just off Haller’s main street, but it’s quiet, and we slept well in the comfy beds. After hiking or skiing, the steam bath in the main bathroom was great for sore muscles. My daughter liked playing music from her phone over the Bluetooth connection while showering. We highly recommend it.

The owners were really nice and greeted us warmly when we arrived. They asked us to check beneath the car before driving off, since their deaf cat might be hiding there. The house was clean and roomy, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable clean beds, and everything needed in the bathroom. There’s a smart TV, a cosy couch, fast Wi-Fi, a safe, a DeLonghi coffee machine, and even a grill. Fresh bread was available each morning. A great house for this region.

We especially liked the steam sauna, and the delivered rolls were delicious. The owners are very friendly. The apartment itself is spacious, fantastic, and mixes modern touches with a traditional feel. Its appliances are all very modern. Highly recommended for a stay in this area.

The Schatz family made us feel welcome all week and were attentive throughout our stay. Their beautiful holiday home is fully equipped, and they’ve thought of everything. Having bread delivered each morning made breakfast easy and relaxed. We’d gladly come back.

The apartment is spacious, and the landlords are super nice. It’s in a beautiful spot by the lake, though there’s no direct view of it. Adlerhorst mountain hut is not far away, about 30 min, and from there you can see the whole area from above.
