Boutiquehotel Strand Hallstatt

We really appreciated the free parking right at the hotel, and it was easy to reach. There’s a full kitchen area for cooking during your stay. The balcony gives you great views of Hallstatt, and the walk into town is easy. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast can be ordered and brought to your room, and eating it on the balcony overlooking Lake Hallstatt was wonderful. The place is a little away from the center, so it stays peaceful and quiet. Although it’s about 700 meters from Hallstatt’s main area, the walk felt short and easy, and once outside the property you’re practically at the village entrance. Each room has its own parking space, and the elevator made luggage easy to move. Our recently renovated room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. I have some mobility limitations and had worried about the location, but it worked out very well. The spot overlooking Lake Hallstatt is hard to beat, and I highly recommend it.

The lady who owns the place has such inspiring energy and went completely out of her way to make sure we had what we wanted. Right on beautiful Hallstatt lake, the location is mesmerizing and the whole place feels magical. If you want a peaceful holiday, book it without a second thought. You won’t regret it.

The location is excellent, and the front desk lady gave exceptional service. The room itself was satisfactory. I did miss having a coffee machine in the room, since those services are all in the shared area on the first floor. The bed sheets could also be better.
