Room 3 had an amazing view of the lake and mountains, looking out over the boathouses. The Pension- Hallberg is small, with only six rooms, and was quiet and peaceful. We arrived early, but they let us leave our bags while we walked around town. The housekeeper watching our bags suggested places for lunch and dinner, and both meals were delicious. There was also a small coffee bar and pots and pans in case we wanted to cook something ourselves.

The surroundings were breathtaking, with fresh air, quiet, and excellent water quality. Even the room had a lovely scent. A perfect stay, and I'd love to come back.

We didn't stay here, but visited the nicest vintage flea shop on the ground floor of Pension Hallberg. The collector and owner was a kind gentleman who shared stories with us. We bought a couple of vintage Art Decor pieces as souvenirs, each with its own story, at very reasonable prices, starting at EUR10 and more for other items. If you're visiting Hallstatt, I'd encourage you to buy souvenirs from him instead of the touristy stalls along the way. Highly recommend the shop.

We booked a lake view room, and the pretty view made the stay even better. The room was very clean and spacious, with really comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly. I'm still impressed by how well the building's interior is arranged, with all its cute props. We had a memorable stay and would absolutely recommend it for a night.

The room had a wonderful view, and it was a pleasure to sit and watch it. There was plenty of space and everything we needed. The heating worked well, and we had no problems. Everyone can use the coffee machines and toasters in the corridors, where there was also fruit, a thoughtful touch. The location was very convenient, close to the ferry pier and with a market right across the street.
