Glück am See - Happy by the Lake

Even though my stay was short, I really enjoyed it. One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in, with nice access to a lake view. I’d absolutely recommend the "Glück am See" apartments.

We’d come back in a heartbeat. The apartment had a huge bedroom, a large bathroom, and plenty of living space, with a comfortable bed. It was nicely decorated, with a small lake view on one side and the Alps on the other. The whole town is walkable, with nothing feeling far, and restaurants and grocery markets nearby for essentials. We only used the kitchen fridge, but the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. We weren’t sure how to get in at first, so we called the number on the reservation. They answered right away and gave us the key code and entry details. The price was great, and we had an amazing experience. We’ll certainly be back!

The apartment was clean apart from the bathroom, which was covered in mold on the shower, walls, and ceiling. At check-in, we pointed it out and said we weren’t comfortable using a bathroom in that condition. Cleaners came that evening while we were at dinner, but when we returned, nothing had changed and the mold was still plainly visible. I can’t recommend the apartment, and I don’t believe they can properly remove the mold.

We were so impressed by our wonderful trip. Hallstatt is beautiful, and your help made us love the place even more. We appreciate your service and will introduce our Vietnamese friends to come visit. Thank you so much!
