Absolutely superb!

We found the house in an extremely dirty state: dust and cobwebs, stained bedspreads, and mirrors and windows that hadn’t been cleaned. There were even mouse droppings in a kitchen cupboard. We raised that straight away, but nothing was done and no repair or price reduction was offered. We were also accused of paying for too few people, though our payment confirmation proved otherwise. The view is beautiful, and there’s a nice little garden with a grill. But the rest was a real disappointment. Bedding for one person was missing when we arrived and wasn’t brought until after midnight. The house carries sound easily, and a family of martens in the roof or walls scratched loudly at night. We couldn’t use the upper balcony because it had no door handle. Wi-Fi was poor and cost extra. We had to take care of all the rubbish ourselves. The recycling center is a 15-minute drive away, and since Friday was a holiday and we had to leave by 9 a.m. Saturday, we ended up taking all the garbage home. Otherwise, we would have had to pay €150. The final cleaning fee was €300, which felt outrageous given the condition of the house on arrival. The value for money was absolutely disappointing, and unfortunately I can’t recommend this accommodation.

We were ten adults and a baby, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Having two separate apartments worked especially well when part of the group wanted to sit together longer and got a bit noisy. The cabin has everything we needed, and after long hikes the sauna was a perfect way to wind down. The view is breathtaking, and it’s a peaceful spot for anyone wanting time in nature. The landlord was lovely and easy to reach, even before we arrived; communication and the whole process were very straightforward. We stayed several months ago but still think fondly of that time. We’d come back anytime! :)

The place is a little out of the way, which can be a plus. The house is big, clean, well kept, and has everything you need. Some of the fixtures, though, date from the '60s and are wearing out. The bathroom fittings and the mattresses especially need replacing. The mattresses were completely worn out.
