Bergresort Hauser Kaibling by ALPS RESORTS

We’ve stayed at this resort regularly as a family, but when everyone in our family got sick and we asked to reschedule, there was absolutely no willingness to be flexible. I’ve never seen a returning guest treated this way before. Very disappointing. We won't be back.

We were worried about security during our stay: an expensive watch went missing, and although we reported it right away, management didn't carry out a proper investigation. Maintenance staff also came into the property without notice or permission. We left the place clean and undamaged, yet the whole security deposit was kept without a clear explanation. We hope management follows up properly and returns both the watch and the deposit. The villa had a lovely view, and the compound itself and pool area were pleasant. Still, the property is quite far from any major city, and despite booking the largest villa, we found the rooms small and the bathrooms extremely compact. There was no trolley or proper path for moving luggage, which made things difficult, especially for families and older guests. It also isn't accessible for people with disabilities. Despite the nice setting and facilities, the experience was disappointing, and the poor management and lack of response made it feel not worth the time or money.

The winter scenery was lovely, and I imagine the view would be just as nice in summer when the resort shifts to holiday and sports activities. The slopes were well maintained, and the local ski community was friendly and efficient. The chalet resort itself is beautiful, welcoming, and well kept, with just about everything you'd need. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and fully stocked. There's a bathroom for every room, though they're oddly open and transparent when you're sharing a room. If you're not a couple, you can work around it by taking turns and stepping out while someone uses it. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed Michaelo’s company while he worked on our very modern dishwasher. 😉 I'd definitely recommend the resort to friends and family! 🤩

We spent 10 nights here in September with our two children and had a really enjoyable stay. The location is peaceful and amazing, with a breathtaking view, and the cabins were beautiful, clean, and well equipped. The reception staff were kind and pleasant, and helped us change our activities around as the weather shifted dramatically each day. Highly recommended. We hope to return soon.
