Haus Schönblick

It's a traditional Austrian apartment in a lovely village, with a really nice setting. The surroundings, the clean apartment, and its pleasant smell all stood out. The bathroom has recently been renovated, the kitchen is very well equipped, and there's a ping-pong table and a trampoline for children. The terrace has a beautiful view and a barbecue, though its lamps don't work. The owner, Ms. Christine, is helpful and friendly, and speaks good English. The Haus Kaibling ski lift and Haus's outdoor pools are nearby. The Wi-Fi and internet speeds in general are very poor. The living room furniture is functional and clean but many years old and could use replacing. There's nowhere to hang towels or dry clothes after the pool. And since this is a rural area, the barn smell and cows behind the fence may bother you.

The Stocker family made us feel incredibly welcome, and the price for what you get feels absolutely perfect to us. It's a beautiful, peaceful little village with a fantastic view of the ski area. The bus stop is a two-minute walk away, and the ski bus reaches the Hauser Kaibling valley station in three minutes.

We've been returning for almost 30 years, and now it feels like a second home. The owner is lovely and does everything for you. The beautiful view is the reason for the name Schönblick.
