We liked how homely and welcoming the area felt, and that it was less touristy. There’s a lovely restaurant a few minutes' walk away, and the cross-country track is right beside the property. Petra gave us lots of great recommendations and was a fantastic host. Meeting her was one of the highlights of our trip to Dachstein, and we really enjoyed staying with the family Fuchs. Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony and lovely mountain views. Breakfast was delicious.

Petra's warm personality was refreshing, and everything was a quick drive from the accommodation. We had a fantastic stay in Schladming. The room was really big, clean, quiet, and great, with a straight view of the mountains too. Breakfast was plentiful. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, pick this one!
