We had a long weekend at Chalet Alpin and felt welcome from the start, thanks to our host and his family. The village is picturesque, and there are plenty of hiking trails right nearby. After a day on the trails, the spa, comfortable sitting areas, and quiet room were great for relaxing. We’d love to return in another season and experience the magic of winter. There’s a supermarket about a ten-minute walk away, and the food at the local restaurant was delicious.

We spent Christmas here as a family of four, all adults, and absolutely loved it. The apartment is beautifully designed, very modern, and has a well-equipped kitchen. The sauna is a big plus. Heiligenblut is a cute village, with a supermarket just down the street and easy access to the lifts by ski bus. The snow conditions were fantastic this time, so I’d definitely come back. Sepp was incredibly courteous and gave us very helpful tips.

We came to Chalet Alpin for a relaxing break and to enjoy the Austrian outdoors, and it was the perfect place for that. Everything was clean, modern, and comfortable. Josef was a very helpful host who knows the area well and was happy to help us plan our stay. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austria and the Gross Glockner area.

The ski bus stop right outside the door was so convenient, and the hosts were always easy to reach and very accommodating. We spent four days at Chalet Alpin over Easter with six of us, including our pet, and felt at home straight away. The chalet has pretty much everything you need, especially in the kitchen. It’s simple, and that’s part of what makes it so relaxed, cozy, and charming, just right for Heiligenblut. The value for money is excellent. A hot tub would be the icing on the cake and make it truly unbeatable. We’d definitely book again.
