The hosts were polite enough, though we didn't feel particularly welcomed. We stayed for a week, and while our room was spacious and very clean, it looked a little dated; there are newer rooms in the hotel. Breakfast was quite basic, especially with so few vegetables. Dinner was three courses: the soups were very good, the main course was decent, but canned whipped cream came with dessert every evening. Drinks were available, though service was poor, with too few staff, limited skills, and a lack of technology, which made dinner far from ideal. There wasn't a decent communal place to spend time as a group. The basement could have potential, but it smelled bad and wasn't well equipped. The ski room also had no heated boot supports.

The rooms were clean during our week here, and dinner tasted good. Breakfast was the weak point: the buffet was identical each morning, and refills took a long time. Staff came across as formal rather than friendly. It was an okay stay, but we wouldn't book again.
Our room was in the newer building facing the forest, with new furniture, underfloor heating, modern facilities, and a very large bathroom with a shower. Parking and half board were included, and Nassfeld ski area was about five minutes away by car. Getting to the building meant using outside stairs that felt quite slippery in the morning and evening, especially in rain or snow. Breakfast was good, but the same every day, with only boiled eggs and a few cucumber slices for vegetables. Dinner had three courses; I'd give the taste and variety 3 out of 5. The hosts were somewhat friendly but reserved. I didn't feel much warmth or effort to make guests feel especially welcome, and they seemed more focused on profit than on keeping customers. We wouldn't stay here again if we return to the area for skiing.
Lisa and Dennis made everything easy, sorting things out for our group before we arrived and being really friendly and helpful. We were a big party and they accommodated us very well. The facilities were all good, and we especially liked the sauna and ping pong table. It was a lovely stay, and we'd definitely come back and recommend it.
Our group of 21 had a fantastic week of skiing. The hotel worked wonderfully for everyone, from age 1 to 80, with excellent rooms, great food, and lovely staff.
