For our Nassfeld ski holiday, Malerhof turned out to be a great choice. The Millenium Express lift is eight minutes away by skibus, which runs at least hourly, and the stop is only 50 metres from the farm. Weidegg is a tiny, quiet village with friendly people, set idyllically in the valley. The Scheiber family are excellent hosts and run a lovely farm. Their homemade natural products, from cheese and ham to pear schnapps, are delicious. The accommodations are clean and spacious, and guests can use the Finnish sauna and infrared cabin in the wellness area. All the farm animals have names and go about their own lives, so you might come across them around the house while walking. A big thanks to the whole Scheiber family for showing us this countryside part of Austria.

The Scheiber family are such a warm, child-friendly family. We were there with our five children and can only recommend a visit. The kids had fun all day, especially getting to see everyday farm life, and a little calf was born while we were staying. Thanks again for letting us visit your farm. We hope to be back next year!

There are lots of animals and something for everyone at this lovely farm. The owners are very friendly, and you can get involved in plenty of ways, from feeding the animals to helping build a new barn or driving them up to the alpine pasture. Definitely recommended!

We've spent decades coming to Nassfeld every winter to ski, and we always stay at Malerhof with the Scheiber family. Summer here is wonderful too. We feel comfortable and almost at home every time. The family puts a rare amount of passion into running both the farm and the rental business. Thanks so much, and see you soon.

There are so many different animals here, and the goats are especially adorable. The horseback riding was great fun too. It's a fantastic farm with incredibly kind hosts. Thanks for such a wonderful holiday. Warm regards from the Spacek family.
