NaturparkResort Alte Schule

The apartment is excellent and very quiet thanks to the thick walls. There’s a play and bouldering room that’s great for kids, plus an outdoor pool, supermarket, and plenty of parking nearby. For a week-long stay, a vacuum cleaner would have been useful. Things got quite unpleasant toward the end. The information folder also leaves out a few things: how to dispose of glass and cans, which we only figured out by chance; how the breakfast basket service works, since there are order forms but no indication where to hand them in; and details about the fitness room. We didn’t need it, but were curious, and our key wouldn’t unlock it.

It’s cozy, modern, and feels very safe, with lovely furnishings. There are play areas for children and a great exercise room if you’re staying longer.

We’re completely satisfied with the beautiful, clean rooms and their great furnishings, and would love to return. Turning a school into holiday apartments was such a good idea :-)

Everything was clean in these great, fully renovated apartments, and the staff were really friendly. They’ve worked elements of the school into the design in a humorous way 😊
