The restaurant deserves credit: the food was very good, and our table was ready straight away, though the prices felt a little high. The room was another matter. I’d booked a double bed but first got two single beds pushed together. Reception moved us after I pointed it out, and the replacement had the right size, but that was its only good point. It had no suspension, just a plywood board under the mattress. For a room called “Komfort,” the bed was anything but comfortable. We paid 170€ for a mostly sleepless night, with back pain thrown in. Check the bed before accepting a room. This really isn’t okay for a 4 star hotel. I doubt the hotel was fully booked, given that we got a restaurant table immediately. The restaurant was good and earned its points, but the room was awful. Certified beds don’t help if the mattress might as well be on the floor. It needs suspension. Instead of accepting fair criticism, the response tries to twist things around, which feels unprofessional. I can’t rate the restaurant and hotel separately. I’d give the restaurant about 4/5 and the room 1/5, making 2.5/5 overall. Since that isn’t a 3, I gave 2/5. Thinking about the response now, I’m not even sure it deserved that.

The price felt like good value, and I’d be glad to return. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety, and the atmosphere was comfortable and well managed. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the place.

We had a relaxed evening at this restaurant, which has a long history and tradition. The service was helpful and friendly, and the dishes were prepared well. I didn’t stay at the hotel.

I hate leaving negative feedback, but that breakfast was terrible, especially for a 4 stars hotel. There was barely any choice, more like a hostel or 1 star hotel. Worse, the tomato and fruit salad they served were spoiled. How can you serve that to kids? I’ve stayed in places all over the world, from hostels to 5 stars hotel, and never before have I been given spoiled breakfast food.

I’m only commenting on the restaurant. We had lunch there as a large group. The dining rooms are okay, though not stylish, especially if you can get a seat by a window. Service was acceptable but not especially attentive. The menu sounded interesting, but the food and beef quality were only average. Prices aren’t very high, so the experience was okay overall, just a bit below what I expected.
