Breakfast was very good, and I had a wonderful stay. The room was great, with a really comfortable bed, and the bathroom had been renovated in a very modern style. It’s really close to ahornbahn and just a couple of minutes’ walk from penkenbahn.

We booked this hotel on an organized trip through Pingwin. Three friends had ordered a single room. Check-in and checkout were quick, and there’s no elevator. The room was small and smelly, with no AC and weak lighting. We ended up using the balcony as a laundry room. The TV didn’t work because the remote batteries were dead. When we asked for replacements, the hotel said sure but didn’t do it. Room service changed our towels only once a week and tidied the room once every two days. They also turned off all the lights in the room, including the bathroom air ventilation. Breakfast was good, with lots of food and great desserts. The ski room entrance was convenient and had enough space. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Penkenbahn, the main lift, and five minutes from Ahornbahn, the secondary lift. There’s a friendly cat who owns the pension.

The location worked really well for us: about a five-minute walk to the Penken ski lift, and near the centre while still quiet. The B&B is next to a farm, so you can smell it outside, as other reviews mention, but not indoors and it didn’t affect our stay. The landlady was kind and helpful, and breakfast was very good. It’s great value, and we thoroughly enjoyed our ski trip. I’d recommend staying here and not judging it by older negative reviews.

We stayed for a ski holiday and found this to be a quiet, family-oriented place. The family who run it were very nice to us. It’s a 3-minute walk to the Ahorn gondola and around 5-10 minutes to the main gondola for Penken. The rooms are small but heated and have what you need, including a TV. Housekeeping is limited: they make the bed, but don’t change the sheets. Breakfast was very good, with meat, cheese, yogurt, cereals, and coffee or tea and juice each morning. Using a locker at the top of the Penken lift makes mornings easier.
