The food was delicious, with plenty of options, and everything from the rooms to the shared areas was spotless and fresh. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and clearly passionate about their work. They really cared about making guests comfortable and went the extra mile. The hotel takes great pride in its service. I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant place to stay.

Maria, the owner, was so kind, and the rooms had lovely views. It was a great place to get away from the city noise. I wouldn’t change a thing and would definitely come back.

Breakfast had a really good choice of yogurt and fruit, plus eggs, semmels, cold meats and cheese. Maria and the other woman looked after us so well all week, and breakfast had that personal touch you don't get in a bigger hotel. Sorry, I never learned her name. My father and I stayed for six nights while skiing in Mayrhofen. It's a traditional family-run Tyrollean guesthouse, and we had a lovely traditional room with a modern bathroom. There was even a built-in radio on the bathroom wall, something we'd never seen before. The balcony looked out over Ahorn. Getting around was easy: the bus stop is a 30-second walk away, Penkenbahn is about a ten-minute walk, and Postamt is five minutes on foot for trips to Zell am Ziller or Gerlos. We had such a nice stay that we're already thinking of coming back next year with more of the family.

Maria was such a caring, kind host, and she served a lovely breakfast every morning. Guesthouse Hornegger was modern, spotless and tidy. I can't wait to return next year.
