The location is savage, just a 30 second walk from the Penken Gondola. The rooms were perfect and just like the ones my friends had in more expensive hotels in town. Great breakfast too, and the Wi-Fi was perfect.

The food comes frozen from Matty's, then gets heated in a pack in the microwave. The hotel manager and restaurant manager don’t care about anyone but themselves.

The place was absolutely filthy when I looked under the bed. The Wi-Fi in the rooms is non-existent, which is deeply irritating since I booked through Crystal Ski knowing I’d need to spend time online. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need decent internet access. Since my first review, I’ve been staying here since last Saturday 30th March. Anyone wanting proof can contact me and I’ll provide receipts, photos, room number, and so on.

I booked a 4 star Hotel Sport & Spa Strass in Mayrhofen through AurumCheck24, but the confirmation listed a 3 star Heart Hotel Nordstern. I was told it supposedly belonged to the Sport & Spa Strass hotel complex, but Hotel Strass confirmed by phone that they had absolutely nothing to do with each other. I cancelled everything and contacted everyone involved by email and phone. To this day, none of them has given me an explanation or compensation.
