The accommodation was comfortable and the host was kind, but getting the €375 deposit back was a real hassle. It was supposed to be returned a week after the holiday, yet it took a month and countless emails and phone calls to holidayflats24. Ask the owner whether there’s a way to book without the extra deposit. If not, stay away.

The owner charged us €1,000 too much, and it took months to get our money back. Stay away from this place.

Looked even better in person than in the pictures.

We left Pension Forsthaus in Hinterglemm very disappointed. The beds were awful, with mattresses that felt like sagging planks, and getting a decent night’s sleep was out of the question. Staff were unfriendly, blunt, and unwilling to help. The fire alarm was in a deplorable state, which made us question the property’s safety. When we raised this worrying problem, staff didn’t respond adequately, leaving us feeling insecure. Taken together, the defective alarm, poor beds, and unfriendly service made the stay feel like an ordeal and a nightmare. I strongly advise against staying here. The facilities and service need a thorough rethink.

We got our money back in the end, but only after two weeks and countless phone calls. The landlords had tried to cheat us out of our very high security deposit. I can only advise against this place.
