Adults still get room to relax here, even though the hotel is so focused on children. It never felt noisy or chaotic. The kids have real entertainment, not just something to keep them busy, so they can enjoy themselves while parents do the same. We stayed at Ellmauhof for a ski holiday in Jan 2026. The whole place felt like a safe world for children to explore, with little discoveries around the property. The family-holiday idea comes through in the small details, which seem shaped by people who understand family life rather than added for show. That gives the hotel a warmth beyond standard luxury. Staff greeted us with genuine smiles, and details like fair toy shop prices and hiking backpacks in the room felt thoughtful and authentic. Thank you for making our winter holiday twice as joyful.

There's a nursery slope right on site, and our three-year-old got a great first taste of skiing. The snow and fun tractor made getting the children to ski school much less stressful, a lovely extra. We've visited three times and are already planning a fourth, because each stay seems to get better. It's a great setting for a family trip, with ski-in/ski-out access, plenty to do for children of all ages, and a relaxing spa. The animals are well cared for, and the stables are impressive. We came as a large group of families, and the attentive team accommodated us so well. The location is fantastic for families.

This is our second visit, and somehow it was even better. The food is amazing, everything is clean, and the staff are so kind. You can ski in and out via bergenlift and slope 11. A wonderful experience, definitely recommended.

The details throughout the place have clearly been thought through, from the rooms and pools to the spa, ski-out access, rentals, horses, animals, and playgrounds. The service and amenities were among the best parts of our stay. Chris, our waiter at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to look after us. An incredible hotel, especially for kids. We will be back! ❤️😃

Everything was great, but some of the food was too salty. I hope they fix that, and the food also needs improvement.
