The balcony isn't divided by a fence, so if you want privacy out there, this place may not suit you. I loved chatting and having drinks with the neighbors. Some people mention the lack of a fridge; that could matter in summer, but in winter the balcony works fine, and nobody will take anything. The staff are lovely, open to feedback, and will fix things if you speak to them directly. They helped us park in and out on the icy drive, breakfast was nice, and the location is central.

We spent a week there, six of us split between two rooms. The hotel was clean, modern, and quiet, with a reasonable price and a great spot in the middle of Hinterglemm. There's a restaurant and bar for evenings. Breakfast was good, though the same usual options were served every day, nothing surprising. We'd definitely recommend it.

The location puts you close to the lifts and shops, with Spar about a three-minute walk away and the nearest lifts roughly three or four minutes on foot. The food is high quality, and the hotel is exceptionally clean and clearly recently modernised. Best of all, the owners and staff are genuinely lovely: welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting Hinterglemm.
