Sonnfeld Gasthof

After a full day of hiking, relaxing on the terrace with those views was a treat. We came as part of a larger group, and the Berger family took wonderful care of us. Our room was especially spacious and opened onto a balcony. The location and mountain scenery are spectacular, and breakfast each morning was a pleasure with that view. The food was delicious too, so do try it. Highly recommend, and thank you!

We also got an introduction to the distilling work the family runs. The hotel itself was peaceful, with great service and really tasty breakfast and dinner. When the weather was good, we could eat out on the terrace, which made the meal and the view a lovely combination. We had some beautiful days here.

Dinner on the half-board plan was a highlight, with an excellent four-course menu each evening. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, and the terrace looked out over the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits in a lovely quiet spot. We really enjoyed our holiday.

We’ve stayed here twice already, and I’m sure it won’t be our last visit. It’s a lovely family hotel with smiling staff, beautiful views, and excellent food. Nothing to complain about.
