The spa was really great, and parking was very convenient. Those were the highlights. The rest left us disappointed, and I don't think it was worth the price. The restaurant service and room furnishings were both disastrous. At breakfast on our last morning there was no butter or rolls left. Rolls also went unreplenished on most mornings. Dinner was similarly frustrating: we kept getting nearly the same vegetables under different names, hot buffet starters ran out and weren't replaced about three times in our five-night stay, and the day's dessert was gone too. On our last evening, we were even served old potatoes. The room was run down. The wooden fixtures had scratches and damaged edges, paint was flaking off the heaters, and the old bathroom furniture was made of cheap chipboard and worn in several places. The shower head was very old too, not what I'd expect at a four-star hotel. The bathroom ventilation either didn't work or was missing, which was awful with no window. TV reception was poor or absent; someone tried to fix it, but a few hours later it was just as bad. When we described what had happened at reception, they said it was the last days of the season and they were closing for summer break the next day. Nothing was offered to make up for our bad experience.

We were met by the elegant restaurant manager, who told us the restaurant was closed that day, even though more than half the tables were occupied. That was a very rude welcome. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The place is beautifully kept, with a nice mix of modern and traditional touches. We also appreciated the pool, fitness room, elevator, and underground garage. The food and service were fantastic.

We stood around for 15 minutes before anyone noticed us and found us a seat. The waiter was a real prick, and the portions were tiny. It felt like the place was meant for locals only. Stay away!
