Travel Charme Ifen Kleinwalsertal

The spa made it easy to unwind, and dinner was outstanding. Breakfast had a great range too, and the room was spotless and comfortable, with lovely views from the hotel's location. I had a delightful stay at Hotel A-ROSA Ifen Kleinwalsertal and would absolutely recommend it. Staff could be a little friendlier at times. I'll be back!

The kids were happiest around the pool, and the wellness facilities were a great place to relax after skiing. With the ski school and rental just a one-minute walk away, plus easy slope access and the ski bus nearby, getting out on the mountain was simple. Our room was roomy and comfortable, and everything worked well. The service was friendly and efficient, and we felt looked after throughout. The room temperature is the one thing that needs attention: it runs quite warm by default and is hard to adjust. Still, everything was well organized for our family, and we'd happily return to the A-ROSA Ifen Hotel.

We were quite happy with the food, the spa, and the hotel's common areas, which were in superb condition. The two large pools and spa were inviting places to relax. But the price for what we got could be better. We've stayed at better hotels for much more reasonable prices. The two-star rating is because the service was disastrous. At arrival, we didn't get the promised, paid welcome drinks or the hot wet towels, though other guests received them that day. Nobody at reception explained the hotel or its facilities. Our room wasn't ready, so we were sent to wait at the restaurant, which didn't open for another 1,5 hours. That isn't what I expect from a 5* hotel. Service was still disappointing at breakfast. We spent a few minutes at the buffet, then came back to find the waiter had cleared our table, even though our coffee cups were full and the bread untouched.

The interior looked amazing, and the hotel felt very luxurious. Staff were kind, the food was good, and the spa facilities were impressive and spacious. The massages were just okay.
