The sauna and spa area was my favorite part, especially the herbs, clean saunas, relaxing space, and balcony looking out over the alm. We had such a good summer stay at Fairhotel Hochfilzen. They had bike rental and hiking tips, along with everything else we could think of. I’d happily return!

We rented an electric bicycle from them for 35 euro a day, and paying by credit card was accepted. The rooms and toilets were clean, breakfast was good, and there was adequate parking.

The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff were so professional and great at service. We call people like them Heinzelmännchen in Germany. Our standard room was new and clean. The spa is new and very clean too. It’s small, but has everything you need. There’s also a great extra room with darts, pool, and table football.

The night cargo trains were loud enough to notice, even when we were tired and slept with the windows open, so I took off a star for that. Otherwise, the place is quite new and has good amenities. The breakfast was arguably the best, like at a 5* Hilton hotel.

I was there for four weeks because of work, and the great people, well stocked bar, and amazing food made the long stay much more pleasant. There’s a good local taxi service too. Go have a look about!
