Hochfilz´Ner Hof

The food was really, really good, and the rooms were nice too. It’s such a cozy restaurant, and the waitress was lovely!

The rooms felt cozy and comfortable, and the view was great. Service was the best.

Room 14 was awful for the six of us on our school ski trip. It felt like ghosts were wandering around, and there were odd stains on the beds that might have been feces or some other bodily fluids. The bathroom door had a hole you could look through, while the shower door barely closed, maybe 20%, leaving the bathroom soaked. There was hair in the drain too. Our room door had no lock, so someone could just show up unexpectedly. The location was fine, only eight minutes from the ski area. The service, though, was poor and uninterested, and there was no toilet paper in the public restroom. There was an ashtray with cigarettes in the shared kitchen, which might suit addicts, but not 15-year-olds. I can't decide whether this place is a hotel or a homeless shelter. Even on a budget, I'd rather sleep in a tent. Who'd volunteer to stay here?

The heater will definitely be on, so skip the sweater. The food was simply good: nine of us were happy, especially with the excellent pizzas. The Gordon Bleu and chicken were tasty too.
