Runnimoos Laterns in Laterns

We've stayed here three times for weekends, a group of fathers and children, and would happily come back. The house has everything, from a huge kitchen to a recreation room with billiards and table football. Even rainy days won't leave you bored. There are plenty of summer toboggan runs and other outdoor activities nearby.

Our group of 17, 11 adults and six children, spent a week skiing in Laterns. The village is lovely, and the quiet ski area is well equipped with everything you need. The house sits at the edge of the village, a little above the ski lift station, and it's an easy ten minute walk to the lift along the winter hiking trail. It was spotless when we arrived. The caretaker was incredibly friendly and gave us useful tips that saved us research time. It's a beautiful, practical house for a large group, with four floors, though we didn't use the attic. The middle floor is the center of it all, with a fantastic kitchen and huge living room. Everyone could sit at one table together, and there are also quiet spots to retreat to. The house is well equipped technically. One thing we'd suggest: snow shovels would be great. The shovels there did work, but with 40cm of fresh snow, a proper snowplow is much more useful. We really enjoyed the week and thank Marco for the help on site. We'd love to return.

The owners were great and very accommodating. Hiking trails begin right at the property, and there are billiards, table football, and table tennis. A perfect place for a family get-together or group.

A lovely view, and the place was clean, kitchen included. It's neat and can fit at least 20 people.
