The walk up to the cabin is quite an adventure, so it may not suit everyone 😉. We’ve visited three times, and every stay has impressed us. The beautiful surroundings and quiet feel like a balm for the soul, and the owner is also very kind and helpful. Highly recommended 👍🤗
Just wonderful up there, with everything you really need and nothing more. Top-notch. My tip: book for a week, take your own food and drinks up, and just relax.
This is a great place for groups or couples who like the idea of lighting a fire first thing in the morning and want a complete break from mass tourism. It’s beautiful here: quiet, secluded, surrounded by nature, and simple rather than luxurious. There’s everything you need, it’s clean, the landlord is incredibly friendly, and the 4G signal is good. Getting here by car is quite an adventure, though. It’s not for new drivers, lowered cars, or cars with front spoilers. Our Ford Focus even got stuck in the middle of the road once. We’d like to come back.
The host is great, and the hut is simple but wonderful. You’ll find peace and quiet here. One important tip: don’t take the path marked "Beware of cows". It’s a forest road, and you’ll only make that mistake once 😂. There are some great hiking spots nearby.
With that magnificent view, the cabin makes a perfect base for hikes. It’s rustic and very cosy, with a wood-burning stove. No television or Wi-Fi, which suits anyone looking for peace and quiet.
