The hotel has a very authentic Tirol style, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, making it feel livelier. There are forest trails nearby and the grocery store is a 10-minute walk away. It takes about five minutes to walk to the bus station for Innsbruck, but luggage has to go up a small hill. My room was spacious, but on the first floor overlooking the parking lot, so I could hear cars coming and going. The heater didn’t work well either, and I was cold the first night until staff brought me a portable heater. What you pay seems to match the surroundings, and I loved being able to walk out into nature.

It’s a quiet spot with no traffic, close to Patscherkofel, and free public transport gets you to Innsbruck in 10 minutes. The host and staff were kind and ready to help. The building is a little dated but has charm, and for this price range you get a huge room that’s clean and well maintained.

We booked at the last minute after our earlier plans fell through, and the check-in staff upgraded us to a room with gorgeous mountain views. It was great value, very clean, and close to the bus stop into the city. The staff were accommodating and let us have an extra half hour at checkout. The two men at reception were brilliant and very helpful. The location is peaceful and close to a bus stop, with a nice pizza place and Thai massage spot about five minutes away. Rooms are basic, and I could hear people walking above us. That’s my only complaint. It’s simple, does the job, and isn’t in a busy area. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

You get fair value for the money: an older building with enough comfort. Public transport is nearby, the surroundings are beautiful, and the view is excellent. The staff are nice.
