Hotel Huberhof

A cozy, clean room with a nice shower, and blankets and pillows as soft as clouds. The hotel felt relaxed and friendly, and the staff were lovely. There were alpacas in the backyard, and the mountain views were beautiful.

The staff were humble and kind. It was my first time waking up to three llamas beneath such a picturesque mountain view. Excellent hotel.

We loved getting out for walks and runs nearby, and the pool and tennis courts were nice in the good weather. Our business room had a balcony overlooking the alpacas, who were very cute. Getting into Innsbruck, including to the conference centre, was easy: buses came regularly and on time, and travel was free with the welcome card. I felt very well looked after throughout. When I was ill, the staff even prepared a different meal for me to have in my room. They were kind and friendly, and the breakfast team were lovely too. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including bread, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, freshly cooked eggs, and tea or coffee brought to the table. I genuinely couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hotel Huberhof and hope to visit again.

The mountain view from our room was amazing, and dinner on our first night was lovely. Our Bulgarian waiter was very helpful. The hotel is family run and has an outdoor pool, though my husband and son didn’t want to use it again because the chlorine smell was strong. There’s no gym on site, but you can drive about 10 minutes to Innsbruck to use one. The receptionist who welcomed us was lovely and spoke English well. We stayed for three nights. One big problem was the flies: there was no protection on the windows, and my family and I were badly bruised from the bites. The building seemed to have been refurbished recently, and adding net curtains wouldn’t seem like a big expense. If the rooms had air conditioning, I’d understand not using net curtains. The reading lamps also weren’t working separately, which attracted more flies into the rooms.
