Sweet Cherry Boutique & Guesthouse Tyrol

Everything here is gorgeous, inside and out, and the hosts are amazing. I only wish I'd been able to stay longer. Plan ahead for getting around, though: it's a good walk to the bus or cable car, and taxis may not be keen on coming out here. I'd happily book again.

I think this is the first time I've given a hotel 10/10. The hotelier was professional and welcoming and made everything feel perfect. The room was spacious enough, and the bed was very comfortable. From bed, we could see the pine trees and Alps, and the views were amazing. It's in a very quiet spot above Innsbruck but still close enough to the city. There's a small domestic airport nearby, but only two planes came by each day. There are plenty of things to do: rent an e-bike from the hotel for a day and explore the city or mountain trails behind it, or have a picnic in the nearby park. I believe there's also a swimming pool, but I didn't check it out because the weather was cold. Breakfast was my favorite part. There was everything, nearly every kind of fruit, cereal, cheese, and bread, plus lots of other choices. I hope I've covered everything, but we really had a great stay. I'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting beautiful Innsbruck!

There are hiking trails right outside the hotel, and we loved being up in the mountains, far enough from the busy city center. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the service was great, and breakfast came with our booking. It was one of the best continental breakfasts I've had included with a stay. My husband and I would happily book again, and we highly recommend it. Getting there is something to factor in. The drive to the city center is about 15 minutes, which is handy if you have a car. We didn't rent one and managed fine with public transport. From the train station, take the J bus towards nordkette to the final stop. The ride is around 20 minutes, then it's a 20-25 minute walk uphill to the hotel. We enjoy walking and had no problem with it, but others might want to keep that in mind.

Ten stars. The big terrace has stunning views, and the place is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was so varied and delicious that choosing what to eat was hard. There's also food and drinks in the hall for when you don't have anything to eat, and you pay on trust.
