We spent a week there in January with our two kids, renting a two-bedroom apartment for two adults and two children. The rooms were extremely clean and practical, with everything we needed for skiing and quiet family dinners in the afternoon. Marlen was lovely and went out of her way to help with all our many requests. The kids also had a whole yard to play in just outside the hotel, including a slope that was good for sledging. There’s a lovely long run, piste 1, down from Idalp that brings you right to the hotel entrance, which was great fun. The ski gondola is only a 3-minute walk away, so the location worked perfectly for skiing. We’ll definitely come back when we’re next in Ischgl! The ski slope comes down to within three steps of the ski room door, and the place was very clean and comfortable. Marlen was a super host, always available and ready to help with anything, even lending us Balsamico for salad and eggs for breakfast. We recommend it for a ski holiday in Ischgl.

I’ve been returning for 20 years, which probably says enough. The hostess is super friendly, and the place sits right at the bottom of the slope. Getting to the lift in the morning is relaxed since there are no hills to climb. I’ll keep coming back.

The one drawback is that there are no heated ski boot dryers in the ski cellar. Apart Marlen is in a quiet cul-de-sac at the southern end of Ischgl, with groomed valley runs leading right to the house. You can buy ski passes directly at the hotel, and the hostess is very friendly.

We stayed in the Edelweiss double room and had a wonderful week. The Prinoth family were kind and attentive, and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The room was cleaned daily, and everything was very clean and well-equipped, including the modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices for different tastes. We’ll definitely be back.
