Hotel Lasalt Garani

The location was amazing, but the way the owners treated us wiped out any benefit. This place ruined my holiday in Ischgl. Our main issue was an extra cleaning charge of 100€. They said the towels or bedsheets were dirtier than usual and claimed they needed to wash them with DonClorix. They didn't provide documents or even a bill for the DonClorix or any extra staff costs they said they had paid specifically because of us. There should be a bill listing the services and their prices, but we never got one. A police officer told me I would receive the detailed bill by email, and it never arrived :( The owners seemed to have serious trouble regulating their emotions and communicating with empathy. Problems can come up, and people can disagree, but screaming at customers is completely unacceptable for a 3* hotel. They should explain their position calmly and provide documents and financial evidence for the charges. The walls are thin, with no sound isolation. You can hear everything, including groups of neighbors coming in at 4am drunk and screaming. Breakfast was quite mediocre too, with only scrambled eggs and lightly cooked eggs to choose from, and it was the same every day. Keep in mind that there's probably a reason this place is cheaper than nearby venues. They set a lower price when you book, then can raise it however they wish after you've checked in.
