Haus Hackl

The ski bus stop is only about 25 meters from the house, and the hosts are super friendly. A prime location for a great holiday apartment, really perfect for a wonderful stay.

Haus Hackl is a pleasure to stay at, and I’d gladly come back. The setting is lovely and quiet, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are roomy, and everything was clean and well kept. There’s plenty of space in the kitchen and dining room for a large group, and the apartments have all you need. The owner was kind and always ready to help, which made the stay easy and worry free. Getting to things is simple too: the bus stop is a minute away, the shop is a five-minute walk, and there’s a playground in the safe surroundings for kids. A real bonus was being able to leave skis and boots in a drying room at the gondola station instead of carrying them home each time. I highly recommend it.

We spent two weeks at Haus Hackl in Jerzens and had a great time. Lydia greeted us warmly when we arrived, and our ground-floor apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. There was a little private terrace with a lovely rocking chair, plus a shared garden where the kids could play. The hostess was friendly and helpful throughout, compliments to her. The apartment is at the end of the village, near a shop and plenty of restaurants, and the bus stop is just a minute away. We bought a bus ticket for €5.00 per adult, which made getting around easy. There’s loads to see and do nearby, including the Kauntal Glacier, Stuiben Waterfall, Hoch Imst, Rosengarden Gorge, Rifflsee, Fendels with its fun mountain cart route, XP Adventure Park, Hochzeiger Cable Cars, Pitztal Glacier, and Benni Bauch Bridge. The Pitztal is well worth a visit. If you’re planning to see lots of mountains, get a glacier park ticket.
