Hotel Edelweiss Schlössl

We had such a lovely time here, vielen Dank! Familie Waibl and their wonderful team have everything so well organized. It's a peaceful family hotel, and the food is great. You really can't ask for more.

We hadn't planned on staying at Hotel Edelweiß-Schlössl in Kappl, but finding it by chance turned into a great surprise. It has a warm, welcoming feel, and you can tell it's run as a family business from the care and personal attention. The food was one of the best parts for us. Breakfast had a generous buffet, and the Austrian-style dinner menus changed and were varied. Every meal felt carefully made and was even better than we'd expected. The rooms matched the photos, weren't especially large, and were spotless and well maintained each day. The Ischgl shuttle was a handy extra, so we barely used the car, which was safely parked in the garage. We found it good value and had a very pleasant stay. We hope it keeps its authentic family-run charm, and we'd happily return.

The standout here is the care you get from the family and staff. Their kindness and all the little extras are hard to find, and they add a lot to the quality and value of this family hotel. This was our third stay, and we had another relaxing, easy holiday in Kappl. The rooms are clean and in good shape, just as pictured, with a comfortable bed and pillows, nothing fancy. We like the good dinner choices of meat, fish or vegetarian, and the salad bar is great. Breakfast gives you a very good start to the day, and the ski shuttle is excellent and convenient. Chances are we'll be back again.
