Schooren des Alpes

We booked a year ahead, then they cancelled four weeks before our planned stay.

The view really is lovely. Beyond that, though, it was a dirty place and the owners didn't seem to care. I think Christina's review below the 5-star ones was written by the owner, which would explain the fairly high rating. I'd give Schooren des Alpes two stars at most, but since they're giving themselves five, I gave one instead of two. And yes, I was there. I'll add some photos to prove it. That really is your dirty mop! Rating yourself five stars isn't fair.

Cancelled just a few weeks before we were due to arrive, despite our booking being made a year ahead. Really unreliable.

We were very disappointed after booking three weeks here. The apartments look modern and have good facilities, but aging equipment kept failing and management gave us no support. On a night when it was -6c, the heating stopped working, so we had to sleep around the fireplace. There was no refund, and management's only response was, 'there's nothing we can do right now!' The location is too far from all the slopes, and there’s NO bus running nearby, despite what the listing says. Be careful too: they may advertise one apartment and give you another after you arrive, when it’s too late to do anything. The other big problem was the guests. It tended to be weekend or short-term groups of young men, and they made the sauna and pool area impossible to use. The facilities just break down.
