Appartement Auernigg

We were in apartment number 5, a lovely little place on the top floor. It was peaceful, and the balcony looked toward the Kitzsteinhorn. When we arrived, the friendly landlady welcomed us, helped carry our luggage upstairs, and explained everything. We felt at home there. Our daughter came to visit for a small additional fee and was given the Summer Card too. That matters, since it gives you free access to so many attractions. The kitchen had what we needed for breakfast and dinner, including a small dishwasher and oven. We could reach the landlady on WhatsApp whenever needed, and she dealt promptly with any extra requests. The weather unfortunately wasn't on our side, though that wasn't the landlady's fault, and the apartment was still a comfortable place to be. It was a fantastic stay. Thanks for your hospitality, we highly recommend it.

Haus Auernigg is in a quiet spot, with Kaprun shops and restaurants an easy walk away. The apartments are very clean and well equipped, and the hostess is incredibly friendly. We received the Kaprun Summer Card on arrival, which helps save on local expenses. We always feel comfortable here and are looking forward to spending another holiday here soon.

Everything was easy to reach on foot from this well-located apartment, and the furnishings were okay. But the musty smell in the stairwell bothered us. We were also upset that the landlady's mother went into the apartment while we were out, with our personal things inside, and left a note on the kitchen table. That's completely unacceptable.

We were comfortable in apartment number 4 in August. There was enough room for four, and the furnished balcony had a lovely view. The bus stop, grocery store, and cable car were all a short walk away, and parking was available at the building or across the street. The apartment had everything we needed apart from an oven. We like baking rolls, and the bakery where we bought fresh ones each morning was only a few minutes away on foot.
