Pension Monika

Pension Monika was quiet, budget friendly, and had great views. We felt very well looked after and would recommend it to friends, family, and other travelers. The room was spotless, the breakfast was amazing, and the bus station was only a 3-5 minute walk away. Verena was so kind and helpful: when we were short on time getting to our train, she arranged a taxi, which we really appreciated. She also brought us an electric kettle and two cups when we asked. The stay included the Zell am See–Kaprun Summercard, a big bonus for free access to local attractions and transport.

Verena was an amazing host, and I want to thank her for that. The hotel had excellent service and a perfect location. A wonderful place.

We had a pleasant four-night stay, and the summer card the pension provides is a great benefit. Monika was friendly, and booking was smooth; she always got back to me promptly when I had questions. It's about a 15-minute walk to the center, and our second-floor double room had a balcony with a beautiful mountain view. The internet on that floor was constantly dropping out and didn't work at all. We told Monika, but it stayed that way for our whole visit. There was no iron anywhere in the pension, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was sufficient, though it was the same each day.

The location made getting around easy, with bus stops for the slopes and town center only a few minutes away on foot. The rooms were clean and had daily housekeeping. Verena was a lovely hostess, really kind and attentive to what guests needed. I'd highly recommend staying there. 😊
