We're already looking forward to returning to Pension Patricia next year, and have booked again because we had such an amazing stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows, a nice bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was very good each morning, and the sauna was a lovely way to relax after skiing; you can book it for private use. The staff were warm and friendly. On our first day, the owner came down to introduce himself and welcome us, saying we could ask him anytime for help or with questions. That personal welcome made us comfortable straight away. For skiing, the bus to the slopes is about a minute's walk away, and the D bus takes around nine minutes to get there. Or walk about three minutes to the main road for the 660 bus. The ski school's training slope was only a two-minute walk away. On our last day we saw the owner again and had another nice chat before leaving.

The room was cozy and modern, with LED lighting, a mountain photo wall, a fridge, Netflix on the TV, a comfortable bed, and fast, steady Wi-Fi. It was very warm, with a hot radiator, so that’s a plus if you like a really warm room. The color-changing LED ceiling felt a bit like a love room. The bathroom had a good hot shower and a nice LED mirror, though it was mounted oddly: to use its magnifying side, you have to sit down, and it should have been mounted vertically. Breakfast had a good choice of dishes, and there’s an open bar where you note what you’ve taken. Staff were friendly, and the pension is easy to reach. There’s an EV charger for 50 cents per kWh. It’s within walking distance of Kaprun center and the Maiskogel ski lift, about 800 m away; the Maiskogelbahn is 900 m away, and Kitzsteinhorn is 4.8 km away. The bus is free. There are plenty of supermarkets, shops, and ski shops near the center. Luis Gardens is nearby and serves Austrian and international food, including Asian dishes. We preferred the traditional Austrian restaurant Grainer Dorfstadl.

The pension is in a quiet spot, but still close to the town center and ski lifts. It has been renovated recently and feels cozy and very nice. We were there for a short vacation, and the owner, who runs the place himself, was always smiling, friendly, and positive. He kept checking whether we needed anything. Breakfast was very good, especially the delicious hot chocolate.
