St. Florian

The staff were very, very friendly and accommodating, and the location is about as good as it gets. We stayed at the St Florian Hotel for a week of skiing in Kaprun and really enjoyed the locally sourced, home-cooked style food, along with the buffet and continental breakfast selection. The salad bar at breakfast and dinner was a nice touch. Drinks were plentiful and reasonably priced. Our room was a decent size, clean and tidy, with a double wardrobe, flat-screen TV, mini fridge, and a good balcony. It felt a little dated, but the ski store had plenty of racks and boot airers, and the spa and sauna area was very nice. The one thing I missed was a way to make hot drinks in the room. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

Good value, with friendly staff and a handy location for skiing. The boot room can get full at times. With half board, the choice is limited to two main courses.

The rooms are a little older in terms of equipment, but they were perfectly clean. The sauna and wellness area are amazing, and the slope is only 100m away, which is a big plus in winter. Staff speak German, English, and Czech, and were helpful, so everything went smoothly. Breakfast and dinner were good enough.

The saunas and wellness area were beautiful and clean, just right after a day skiing. What we’ll remember most, though, is how warm and welcoming the staff were, and the great location, only 5 mins from the main lift. We had a lovely family stay at St Florian and would love to return. Thank you!
