The rooms were nice, and there was an elevator, so it wasn't all bad. But when I stayed at Haus Renate about two weeks ago, there were a few things I really didn't like. There was no microwave or room heating, and for eight people they provided only six rolls of toilet paper. We had to buy more ourselves because they told us to. I've never had to buy my own toilet paper before, and it was more expensive than other hotels.

I liked the ski room and the hangers for ski boots, and the elevator was a nice bonus. The place looks good inside and out, and I enjoyed the stay enough that I'd go back. Still, when I was there two weeks ago, quite a few things were missing. We had to buy our own toilet paper, and there was no microwave, though that one didn't bother me much. Room heating for gloves and ski gear would be useful. It was kind of expensive.

There was plenty of parking in front of the hotel, and Serfaus is a 22-minute drive away. We went for a week of skiing and got QR codes at the hotel for discounts on ski passes and the nearest swimming pool. Our apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and very good. You can also get breakfast, use the sauna, or ask for fresh bread in the morning.

There is lots of parking in front of Haus Renate, plus a fresh-bread service, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and a ski storage room with heated shoe holders. Our apartment was large, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen, and would fit six people well. It also worked for wheelchair users, with wide doorways, no thresholds, and bathroom handrails.
