Hotel Alexander

The restaurant food and service impressed me most. The team were warm, helpful, and happy to accommodate us. It’s also a great base for skiing, with bus stops for both Kitzbühel and Maierlbahn nearby, and the rooms are spacious and nicely designed for resting after a day out. The spa is well equipped and a comfortable place to unwind. One drawback: hot water was only available outside busy hours. We had a wonderful week here in winter, and the staff were amazing.

The wellness area was a lovely surprise, with aroma steam, several saunas, light beds, and more. It made for a great après-ski break. We also really appreciated the personal service from Marko and Peter in the restaurant, both professional and attentive. The hotel is close to the gondola and has a handy ski room with boot heaters. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the half-board meals were outstanding: lots of choice at breakfast and a beautifully presented five-course dinner. Thanks for such a wonderful ski holiday!

The dinners and amenities were superb. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and if you’re looking in this area, you have to stay here.

I was really disappointed by how this was handled. I booked online, then at check-in they added a large cleaning fee that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand. The manager told me she didn’t care whether I was satisfied because they already had the money, and that I couldn’t cancel at that point. There was no willingness to work with me to sort it out. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
