The staff made our stay especially pleasant. The gentleman at reception is always in such a good mood that it rubs off on you, and the lady serving meals was helpful and pleasant. It was also very clean, the WI-FI worked well, and breakfast was sufficient. The guesthouse is fairly close to the train station, with a bus stop nearby for routes to neighboring towns, including Kitzbuhel. For a winter visit, CHAIR LIFT E1 Gaisberg is very close, with a fabulous 3.5 km toboggan run for children and adults. This was our third guesthouse in Austria, and the experience was quite similar to the first two. Quality was the common thread. We came away with a very positive, typically Austrian experience and a relaxing vacation.

It’s an easy walk into town, and I enjoyed my time here. The room was a good size, breakfast was fine with a nice selection, and everyone was friendly. I’d recommend the place to others.

The owners and staff are very friendly and focused on service. The building and rooms are kept in impeccable shape, renovated or updated, and the place feels professional. Hospitality has been a tradition here for a long time, and I always enjoy staying at the Tannenhof because everything feels just right. It’s ideally placed near the ski slopes, while the center of Kirchberg, with doctors, a pharmacy, and different shops, is only a few minutes’ walk away.
