We had a lovely view from the balcony, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming that the place had a cozy, home-like feel. In my opinion, the location is the best part. There’s plenty of guest parking, and it’s lit in the evening.

Frau Strobl even packed us a picnic when we missed breakfast on our last day, which was such a kind touch. My 12-year-old son and I had a great holiday at Wieshof and in Rauris. Our room was warm and had a balcony, and breakfast was lovely, with thoughtful personal touches. The Kreuzberglift chairlift starts just behind the house, while the skibus stop for the beginner slope and Hochalm Bahn gondola is right outside. There are several good places to eat within a short walk, and we liked the cafe by the church too. We booked ski hire in advance with Sporthaus Egger and got the cheaper advance lift pass deal. Rauris is easy to reach by public transport from Salzburgh airport. Highly recommended. The photos show the view from our room.

From a balcony, you can look down over the village and out at the mountain scenery. The hotel sits beautifully on the hillsides of Kirchberg, and the service was great. The rooms are nice and stay at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast is the usual German/Austrian style. I’d happily recommend it.

The hosts were wonderful, and there’s a nice sauna. It’s very close to the slopes, so I’d definitely recommend staying here :)

The rooms are fairly ordinary, but more than adequate for a summer tourist. The location is excellent, and the service and amenities are very good, with friendly staff. I’ll definitely stay here again.
