Babymio

The kids especially enjoyed the big playground and the little farm, with cows, sheep, and rabbits. There are pools and a sauna too, which were a nice extra. The all-inclusive meals had lots of options, including for babies and toddlers, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful spot in Kirchdorf and a fantastic family hotel.

We loved our week at Babymio in the summer of 2022 so much that we returned a couple of weeks ago. It was great to see they'd acted on the one suggestion we made after our first visit. We can only recommend it. The pool was awesome, and we went swimming nearly every day. Everything looked well cared for and was continually being renewed. Our room was comfortable and quite spacious compared with rooms in big chain hotels. The food was varied and really good, with simple choices for the kids and tasty dishes for adults. We arrived earlier than planned, and the staff made an effort to get our room ready as soon as they could. The price includes nearly everything for children: buggies, bikes, carrying cloths, a kids' buffet, room toys, a playroom, small and large outdoor playgrounds, daycare, and lots of activities during the week.

There’s plenty to do close by, especially for anyone who enjoys walking and nature, and we’d happily come back for another week. At the hotel, there’s a heated indoor and outdoor pool, playgrounds for different ages, a climbing wall, bikes, strollers, carrying bags, and animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, cows, donkeys, goats, and a miniature horse. Our room was spacious and clean, and the food was consistently excellent, really restaurant quality. The staff were very friendly and loved making our daughter smile. We didn't use the daycare, though I’m sure it would have been lovely too. We spent a week at Babymio and enjoyed every moment.

The daily activity suggestions printed for breakfast were a nice touch, and the wellness facilities felt very professional. Babymio is also well set up for babies, with play corners and lots of things to do. The whole hotel, from reception to housekeeping, had a lovely staff who really tried to make us feel at home. It’s luxurious but still cozy. We only used daycare for one afternoon. It looked lovely, and our daughter came back relaxed and happy. One thing future guests should know is that many families had children well past baby age, or their youngest child was much older than a baby. That caused issues in the play areas and pool. Some parents weren't watching their older children, who used toys that weren't meant for them and made a lot of noise, shouting and splashing. We had expected “baby mio” to mean the hotel was aimed at families with at least one child under two, so this surprised us.
