We stayed here for New Year’s in 2019. The owner cooked breakfast himself, which was very kind. It’s centrally located and close to the lifts, maybe a five-minute walk. You can tell it’s three-star accommodation, but it’s a very respectable three-star place and a great base for family and friends.
The Hannenkammbahn gondola is less than a 10-minute walk away. The accommodation is comfortable and modern, with a small gym, sauna, infra-red room, and rec room. Breakfast in the morning is decent. The host Christophe usually leaves you to do your own thing, but if you’re open to it, he can tell an interesting story or two.
We planned a stay over the turn of the year 2021/2022 and paid a deposit. When we called to ask about confirmation of the booking and the several-hundred-euro deposit, the hotel first denied both the correspondence and the payment. Another member of our vacation group called to ask about it too and was verbally abused. We’ve already sought legal advice and are very disappointed by what we feel is the unacceptable way Hotel Christopherus is being "managed."
Dogs are very welcome, and the location is perfect. We had a great apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, plus a more than adequate breakfast buffet.
The rooms are nice, but the owner only goes into them to inform people about things.
