We were there in early December, and the lobby and bar were decorated for Christmas, which looked so nice. It’s a really nice hotel, with a good location and everything seeming just a few minutes’ walk away. We’d stay again or recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The saunas were great and weren’t crowded when I was there in January. The food, staff, and location were all super nice, and the building has some really great decor throughout. Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

We stayed for a week in August 2025, and loved it. The views were amazing, and we’d come back for them anytime. The food was excellent: lots of choice at breakfast, with lovely fresh bread and cakes, plus a four-course dinner included each day. The menu changed daily and we chose at breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The hotel is well placed for lifts, buses, and trains if you want to visit other towns. Our room had a balcony facing the street. It got full afternoon sun, so we couldn’t use it then, though it was handy for drying rinsed walking shorts and T-shirts. The rooms seem geared more toward ski season and don’t have air conditioning. We had incredible warm weather and could have used AC. I understand why they don’t install it, and the fan we requested was delivered quickly. With the windows open, we were woken by some noise from groups out drinking at night. Once we closed the windows and used the fan, the noise was less of an issue.

My stay was unpleasant. The room smelled noticeably and was too cold for comfort. There wasn’t a phone in the room, so reaching reception was difficult, and the hotel had no parking. It didn’t meet my expectations.
