Dave was friendly and checked in on our group during the trip, and he was flexible when we arrived late. Some of his misogynistic jokes and comments felt odd and uncomfortable, though, and I wouldn't stay again. For the price, it's an okay option. The location is handy, under a 10-minute walk to the ski rental shops and gondola. My private room was warm, with Netflix and Prime on the TV; the bed and floorboards creaked a lot. The bathroom was clean, the showers had plenty of hot water, and towels were provided.

We were two 15-year-old friends visiting Kitzbühel for a long weekend, and the price, central location and homely house made Dave's hostel an easy choice. From the first day, it felt like being welcomed into a big family, and the people were so sweet. The rooms were really clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with food and had everything we needed. In the evenings there was always someone to cook with, and we met new people we already miss. Dave, we liked your way from day one and will definitely come back. I know this place won't suit everyone, especially people who care a lot about tidiness or having their own bathroom, or who aren't comfortable with a family feel and a fun atmosphere. We miss it and are looking forward to visiting again. Big kisses and love :)

The location made things easy, close to the train, town center and ski station. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was good, and there was a common room for hanging out. The bathrooms were very good too. What stayed with me most, though, was how David and the other guests helped me when I had a problem. It was a complicated experience, but it reminded me how many generous, wonderful people you can meet. I'm very grateful to them. 🌸😊 This place has that old hostel spirit I hadn't found in a long time. People share laughs and good vibes around the table, and guests become a big family thanks to David's warmth and friendliness. I was lucky to spend a few days there. Thanks for everything, Dave 🥰

The hostel is an easy walk to the ski lift, even in ski boots. There was plenty of food, soap and entertainment, plus ducks and chickens. The staff were friendly, and we had a great experience. Thanks, Dave!
