We had a spacious room on the top floor, looking out onto the street. The large bed was comfortable, with a thick, warm duvet that was perfect for the cold winter night. The bathroom also had a roomy shower. This is a nice boutique hotel right in the centre of Klagenfurt. The staff were very helpful and pleasant at check-in and during breakfast, which was delicious, high quality, and offered plenty of choices. The coffee was very good too.

The location couldn't be much better, right by the city center. The woman at the front desk was really nice and made us feel welcome. Private parking is available for €6 a day, which is a good deal if you're not there on the weekend when street parking is free. 5/5. We didn't try breakfast, though it looked good. The room was very narrow and didn't feel comfortable. The bathroom and furnishings were outdated, some tiles were loose, and the shower holder was broken. 2/5.

Room 12 was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a little balcony and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was practical, with a shower, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the room. The hotel is well located and it was easy to park nearby. The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the good espresso and the kind person looking after it. I’d stay again when I’m back in Klagenfurt.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I don’t think I said that enough while we were there. The hotel is right in the city centre but stays very quiet. Our room was perfectly clean, with a lovely hint of lavender, and the bed was cosy. The bathroom was comfortable and everything worked. There’s a nice choice of tea at reception around the clock, plus clear instructions if you need them.
8/10
A sweet, simple little boutique hotel, cosy too. The bedsheets and toilet were clean, and the staff helped us when we needed to check in a bit late. Just be ready for stairs on the way to your room, and note there’s no kettle in the room.
